Initiatives
Project Quack is SBCS’s year-long mentorship program where mentors guide teams of students in building real projects. Teams learn, code, and collaborate throughout the year, forming a community of builders. At the end, groups present their work at the Project Quack Symposium. Established in 2024, the program now brings together over 160 participants.

Mentors lead teams of students matched by shared interests, skills, and goals, helping each group start with clear direction and strong support.
Teams meet throughout the year to build and refine their projects with guidance from mentors and the SBCS community, ending with presentations at the Project Quack Symposium.
Students gain hands-on experience, new skills, and a supportive network. Many keep improving their projects, stay active in SBCS, or take on leadership roles.
